Great location. Holt is lovely. Good restaurants/pubs all within a few minutes walk. Good furnishings and layout. The mattress was very firm. There were a couple of areas in the bathroom which could have been cleaned more thoroughly, but overall a lovely cottage.

It's the 7th cottage we have stayed in at North Norfolk and it's the best by a mile. Everything you could want for a pleasant comfortable stay it provides. And the location in Holt is perfect. Port 1 was a lovely cosy, comfy, cottage in the heart of the town with the added bonus of a car parking space. The cottage is compact but ideal for 2 guests and has all the facilities you require be it for 2 nights or 7 nights., an ideal base to explore Holt and all the other lovely North Norfolk Towns and Villages.

The cottage is in an excellent position and was a lovely place to stay. Unfortunately the heating wasnâ??t on when we arrived on a December day and the house was freezing. If I stayed there again I would check with Norfolk Cottages that the heating would be on when we arrived.
