21 Norman Drive Lodge Reviews

We enjoyed our stay. The lodge had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We did feel that it needed a little bit of tlc. The door was difficult to open and close and on a hot day we were unable to open the patio door. Although we were on holiday it is nice to sit down in the evening and watch the television. This was very slow and needs updating.
Some small maintenance issues end of the season! Sykes directions for finding the property are poor Apart from the above we were delighted with the accommodation & would gladly return

The comfort and cosiness of the lodge allowed us to fully relax which was what we all needed. The location to other areas, Caister, Lowestoft, Gorleston was ideal. The lodge, particularly the kitchen was so well equipped, everything we needed was here! Thank you for letting us use your lovely lodge we will highly recommend to others... 5 stars! TIPS FOR OTHER GUESTS The roast dinner at the Queens Head highly recommended The Lifeboat Cafe at Caister is great super food options Bex's Tea Room on Lowestoft beach towards Claremont Pier, lovely lunch and a wide variety of teas available. Tony's Fish Bar, Gorleston, great fresh fish ask about the 12 portion of chips there was plenty for one! Just an aside for the owner, the toilet seat in the ensuite is rather loose, we did call your maintenance guy as listed in the folder twice but we didn't get any response... thought you might want to know
Lovely clean and comfortable lodge and in the kitchen area there is nothing left wanting for ! Its amazing how well equipped it is, owner has forgotten nothing!! Only downside is that the main lounge tv is only 42 and not a smart tv ! Which did totally surprise me as owner has WiFi and Park resort also supplies WiFi for free for up to 30 or 60 days, also aerial amp is missing in main bedroom so only lounge tv works master bedroom super king has no tv at all ! kingsize bedroom only has small tv also not smart. DVD player also seemed faulty as tried to load dvd but it just sounded like it was in a race then displayed error, But all in all a lovely clean very well equipped lodge well maintained, a credit to the owner, Highly recommend.
An amazing lodge on a very quiet park. A couple of issues were soon sorted by Sykes and the owner. We had a great week and visited many attractions in the area. The lodge was great to come back too.Would highly recommend.
Absolutely loved our time at 21 Norman Drive, the Lodge was equipped with everything you needed a real home from home. If you've forgotten anything it will be here. It was also Clean, Tidy, Roomy, cupboards galore with even an ensuite in one of the bedrooms. The site was handy for Countryside and Seaside.
Sandra
Beautifully presented lodge, everything provided for use during stay. Would highly recommend.
Lovely well maintained lodge with all the facilities you would need for a home from home stay. Located about a ten minute drive from Great Yarmouth seafront. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Pamela
We were very lucky, I booked a date in October and it was glorious. This lodge was on a quiet site but quite pretty. The lodge was very big, there was totally everything you needed including games, puzzles and books, there was nothing the owner had forgot, it was kept very clean. I wish it had been closer to the coast though.
Jeanette
An excellent property, very clean with everything you need, I would definately recommend this property for a great stay
We found the lodge to be very comfortable and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. It is conveniently located for visiting nearby beach resorts. We would be happy to stay there again.
Christine
Lovely lodge, plenty of room and everything you could want for a home from home stay. My only niggle is the oven would not work, despite the ignition working it seemed like the gas was not coming through. Plenty of gadgets in the kitchen to compensate though. Nice quiet site which is what we wanted, plenty of places to eat nearby. Would highly recommend.
