We stayed in The Cobblers Cottage for a week early September and we loved it!! It has a lovely character, was spotlessly clean ;homely and comfortable (spacious for 4 adults too) and well equippedâ?¦we also appreciated the 2 parking spaces; and one day when my daughter visited for a few hours ,her car also fitted onto the driveway!! The cottage is set within a very pretty garden with furniture. The owner left us a lovely welcome pack of milk, tea , lovely cookies granola cereal etc which was very much appreciated, thank you so much! The cottage was brilliantly situated for a short walk into Holt which we lovedâ?¦lots of independent (fab) shops, places to eat and cafes/art gallery shops and also only a few miles inland from the beautiful North Norfolk coast. We were in the area for a family wedding and will definitely visit again and would not hesitate to book this cottage again because it more than fitted our needsâ?¦.thank you!
Andrea
Lovely cottage,in a lovely town,had a wonderful week.
Kim
Lovely clean and well equipped cottage, the country park was close by and great for walking the dog, best doggy beach was East Runton the Norfolk Railway is definitely worth a visit.
Andrew
The cottage is just right for 5 people and a dog. Nice, shady garden, great for cooling off after the beach. Take a boat trip to see the seals. Locals are very friendly. 2 Magpies bakery is expensive but very high quality, as is the chinese takaway. Sea World Hunstanton is expensive (ask for 30% discount if you have NASUWT membership). LIDL and Morrisons are in Cromer (Budgens, in town, have limited stock at high prices).
Sally
Lovely stay in a lovely cottage. Bedding very clean, comfy beds. Thanks for the welcome bag of goodies and milk, apple juice ⭐️. Ideal size for four adults. Weather superb â??️. Holt is an ideal location to stay to visit North Norfolk.
Will
A lovely cottage but â?¦. The garden looked like it hadnâ??t been tended to for a good few months, not even a grass cut. Garden furniture was well past its best and was tatty. The curtain pole in the living room had fallen down and not been fixed. Dining chairs had screws missing so were wobbly. Kitchen tap dripped unless you tightened to a huge degree which meant my wife couldnâ??t turn the taps off. The toilet flush button was really stiff and I think about to stop working altogether. The biggest and worst issue was the smell of the septic tank which meant we didnâ??t use the garden as much as we would have liked. Fixed these and Iâ??d recommend but not unit current state
Stephanie
Lovely welcome pack.. charming cottage
Janet
The cottage is very well positioned near to the town centre but away from most of the bustle and noise. The school opposite caused no disturbance, especially as we were out during the day. Inside there is everything one needs and one or two unexpected extras like very eclectic collections of books and of art on the wall. The kitchen is quite small which gave one of us an excuse to keep out but is well equipped. Having one bathroom might be awkward if all three bedrooms were occupied but for us it worked well. And of course Holt has plenty to offer and is an excellent base from which to explore the coast.
Andrew
Drive way very tight and requires reversing onto road with limited vision
Terry
Lovely cottage, clean, comfortable & tidy. Good location, with lots of places locally to visit. Well worth a stop.
Jean
A lovely Victorian cottage. However, we thought the inside is in need of some updating and re-decoration. Comfortable beds and clean bedding. Quality towels provided. A ten minute walk into Holt and the shops. A good location to explore North Norfolk.
Angela
A lovely cottage in a super location. Itâ??s just a short walk into town with a good range of shops and dog friendly places to eat. The cottage felt very homely and had everything we needed. The bike locker was really useful for two mountain bikes and the garden was a good size for our two labs. Two dogs and two teenagers are a challenge to keep occupied, but Holt Country park, Holt Archery and Air rifle centre helped. Proximity to Holkham Hall, Blakeney, Wells next Sea, Cromer and Coltishall paddle boarding all made for a great family holiday. We would love to go back to Cobblerâ??s Cottage and would definitely recommend it.
Matthew
Really lovely cottage in a very nice location. Cobbler's Cottage is well equipped and perfect for a family. Within easy reach of Holt town centre with plenty of lovely shops and cafes but far enough out to be quiet and relaxing. A lovely base to explore North Norfolk and the coast.
Kevin
Lovely cottage close to high street but very quiet. Ideal location to visit all the coastal attractions
Nicola
Fantastic cottage and location. Couldnâ??t ask for more. We were really comfortable and had everything we needed, a home from home. Will definitely return.
Steve
Lovely clean cottage, excellent welcome pack, ten mins walk to the centre of Holt. Ideal spot for North Norfolk exploration.
Amanda
We had a really enjoyable stay at Cobblers Cottage. The house is perfectly situated down a quiet road within walking distance to Holt and also the nearby Holt Country Park. I stayed with my husband, three children and two dogs and it was a perfect home from home. The beds were comfy and warm, as was the house itself. The house was quirky and offered everything we needed it for. A good centre point to visit Wells, Brancaster, Sandringham and the local beach of Salthouse. Small but efficient kitchen was good for quick meals. Lovely welcome hamper too. We will be rebooking for next year as we felt so at home, thank you
