Cottage in a lovely location, with great garden space. Cottage itself really gorgeous but let down by poor cleanliness/less than comfortable lounge furniture. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk : Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about your experience and have discussed cleanliness with the cleaning company. We have put spot checks in place to make sure everything is acceptable for future guests.
Rebecca
Lovely cottage, fantastic secure garden for the dog
Helen
Golden Goose Cottage is beautiful. It is in a great location, it has off-road parking. The garden is lovely and there are different seating areas. Inside, the quality of furnishings is excellent. The layout of the cottage is good, with a nicely sized kitchen/dining area. The beds are really comfortable and good quality. It's a great cottage to relax in.
S
The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped
Silke
Very lovely 'cottagie' cottage, tastefully decorated and furnished and with a very homily feel to it, There is a well working wood burner for extra atmosphere though you need to get your own logs. The kitchen is well equipped and with good appliances. Washing up liquid, kitchen cloth and towels were kindly provided. The cottage is in walking distance to Blakeney and Cley next the Sea and the walks through the marshes. Overall, a good location to explore the northern part of Norfolk. We were missing some local dog walking options, ie local footpaths through the countryside (other than the marshes) which we did not manage to find really. Many walks involve quite a bit of pavement.. so we ended up driving to Holkham beach on 3 of the days.
Lisa
Golden Goose Cottage was well decorated and furnished, with all the amenities and equipment our family and dog required for a happy week to explore Norfolk. We really loved the local area and there were plenty of options to dine out or takeaway food,,,,We particularly loved Cley next the sea, for its picture postcard village and windmill, great Pottery Shop.
