Honey Buzzard Barn is a little gem in the north Norfolk countryside. It's a little like a tardis, as once you enter we were truly surprised at the size of the barn and the size of all the rooms. The barn has everything you need to enjoy your stay and the barn is very tastefully decorated. It has underfloor heating so has a lovely warm feeling. Comfortable seating and very comfortable beds. Its set in a very quiet location but you can drive to Fakenham in 10 minutes, Wells next to sea in 25 minutes and Cromer in 35 minutes. Its very centrally located. We enjoyed the wood burner in the evenings, it made it feel really cosy while watching TV or listening to music. The Barn has great off road parking. Honey Buzzard Barn is one of the best places we have stayed, well thought out, nicely decorated and has everything you could want. The milk and brownies to welcome you were a lovely surprise including tea and coffee. Thank you.

Honey Buzzard Barn is a beautiful property and very spacious. It had everything we needed and the owners who live nextdoor were there if we encountered any problems. The tea, coffee, milk and cake were a very kind gesture. Unfortunately, whilst there the local water board were doing works so the water was turned off at night which was a bit of a nightmare but it was one of those things. Alistair the owner came around and also text us to let us know what was happening with the water which was lovely. We would love to return one day so we can explore the area a bit more as due to feeling a bit under the weather, we only managed to get out one day.

This was a return visit and didnt disappointed! The hosts of Honey Buzzard are rare to find,getting the balance just right between showing interest but giving privacy,the barn itself is beautifully kitted out with many thoughtful touches,the underfloor heating is a game changer! Great location for exploring and good places to eat,and shop, nearby.We will be back

Very much enjoyed our stay at the barn. Everything we could need was there. Very much liked bedrooms which were actually dark and not full of light as soon as the sun came up, our preference. Owners were lovely, met them for a chat on a few occasions.

The property was as described. It was a nice touch to receive a lovely cake on arrival and dog treats for our dog. The location was very peaceful and great places around for walking the dog. Would highly recommend and perfect for my disabled dad. The only downside for him was the shower. Would definitely stay again.

This was a perfect base for a perfect holiday. The barn was immaculately clean and added extras such as milk in the fridge and some tea and coffee bags on the side were just what was needed after the long drive! Things such as netflix enabled TV, plenty of good books, selection of games for the kids and a whole host of local attraction leaflets made for a smooth and enjoyable stay for all. I loved ending my days of beach combing and local attractions with a long soak in the beautiful tub and the courtyard patio was perfect for outside eating. Our family of 4 including a 4 year old and an 8 year old had the best time particularly being able to all easily stretch out on the extra large sofas in the living room! The hosts were so attentive and friendly and we honestly couldn't have ask for more!

The barn is a great place to stay. It's comfortable and well equipped. It feels very spacious inside as it has very high ceilings and it stayed quite cool even though the weather was pretty hot. The little yard is nice for eating breakfast and if you want more outside space then you're in the middle of the countryside so you can get it easily. It's not far from some fantastic beaches too. The owners live nextdoor and were very helpful.

Honey Buzzard Barn is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy trips out to Norfok's beaches , Broads, and interesting places like Sandringham and Blickling Hall, or to just enjoy the countryside around the barn, listening to the bird song and spotting deer and hare in the fields . It is very well equipped, beds very comfortable . The owners are very friendly and welcoming , with good advice about the location , but then leave you to just enjoy the barn , not intrusive in anyway . We hope to stay again.

The barn is wonderful, very comfortable with everything we needed for our weeks stay. The kitchen is very well equipped and its handy having a washing machine, especially after few muddy walks! The owners are lovely, made us feel very welcome The location is perfect for reaching Holkham Beach, Wells, Felbrigg, Holt and Sheringham and its only a 810 min drive to the nearest supermarket and takeaways. There are some lovely local walks nearby which dont need the car. The WiFi does drop off at times in the evening but I guess thats probably due to the location. Weve already booked for next year!

We had a lovely week at Honey Buzzard Barn. The accommodation is second to none and in a perfect location to explore and take advantage of the surrounding countryside and nearby coastal areas and beaches. Not an area we have visited before but it was equal travelling distance for two old school pals now living miles apart in Leeds and Hurstpierpoint to meet for a week away. The property is warm and well equipped. As our stay was probably one of the coldest weeks of the winter, the wood burner was very appreciative in the evenings. It was very handy that the owners lived next door, and twice refilled the log basket free of charge. Nothing was too much trouble, and it was nice that they called to see us on the morning of departure. Would definitely recommend this property, it's very handy for all the North Norfolk attractions.

This was our second stay and it was just as good as our first. Very comfortable, very clean. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of games for wet days. WiFi excellent. Enjoyed our days out to various towns and villages. Holt we found was so pretty and full of independent shops as well as a couple of well known ones. Walking from the property you do need wellies but really worth packing them. Where ever we went every one was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying at Honey Buzzard Barn.

Honey Buzzard is the best holiday hire property we have used. It is very well equipped, clean and located in an ideal area for travel to all of North Norfolk's attractions. The owners are very friendly and easy going. It has been a pleasure to chat with them. Indie, our cockerpoo and myself even went on a couple of walks with the resident cockerpoo Penny and her owner Catherine. It was great seeing the produce in the fields, sugar beet and peas to mention a few. As for the wildlife, lots of hares in the fields and even a deer was seen. The tracks used were traffic free except for the rare car going to a local property. Ideal to let Indie run off lead in safety. Simply the best. I will return to this oasis of peace and rest in the future

Second time we have stayed here owners very welcoming, it is very homely cottage & was very local to where we were having repairs done to our caravan. Will certainly be staying here again if it is available.

We have been holidaying in Sykes holiday cottages for several years and found them all to be value for money. Honey Buzzard Cottage however proved to be the best one to date. Well equipped, clean and comfortably warm important as we stayed in a chilly week in mid April 2024. Ideally placed in North Norfolk within 30 minutes of most amenities along the North Norfolk coast. I highly recommend this very convenient holiday stay.
