Old Post Office Cottage Reviews

Hilary
Lovely, homely cottage which was a great base to explore the surrounding area. Deceptively big. Garden had a real country cottage feel and was secure for our dog to be able to wander around safely.
Beverley
The cottage, bedding and all of the facilities were excellent, we all enjoyed our stay a great deal. The fact that you change the leaving time from 10 to 9 (according to the guest notes) was disappointing. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your feedback, we will check the guest notes but can confirm check out is at 10am.
Louise
Had a lovely stay at the Old Post Office Cottage. It is situated in a lovely village surrounded by fields and good walks. It has everything you need for your stay and is very well equipped particularly in the kitchen with tea and coffee and condiments and kitchen equipment. Garden is totally secure and very pretty with lots of flowers. We would definitely stay there again.
Edoardo
Staying in the Old Post Office was a delight. What a refreshing change, when so many holiday cottages are essentially indistitnguishable from bland chain hotels, to stay somehwere so completely individual. It was like being allowed to stay in a friend's house while they were away for a week. The cottage has been beautifully restored and the village, Shotesham, is as idyllic an English village as you could find - the sort of place that you don't believe can still exist. Highly recommended.
Cydney
The cottage and location were both idyllic. However, the roads to get there were very narrow and scary! Drivers in these parts are impatient and rude. Beware Norwich Park and Ride sites. Our car was hit by an anonymous driver while we were in the city and no cctv. Now have expensive repairs.
S
Lovely homely cottage, we spent a beautifully relaxed Christmas there.
Elaine
Access to wifi is good and essential as we had no phone signal. Walled garden is good for dogs (no escape exits) as well as humans
Karen
Lovey location and cottage quaint , stairs very steep.
Nigel
Our stay at the cottage was truly delightful! The accommodation was immaculate and exuded a cozy ambiance. We were particularly impressed with its dog-friendly nature, which allowed our furry companion to join us for the adventure. Our family had an unforgettable time, creating memories that we will cherish forever.
Helen
Lovely cottage in a good location for exploring Norfolk and the Broads. Enclosed garden is great for dog owners.
Daren
lovely cottage if you just want to get away from it all. The garden is very private and great if you are taking a dog.
Sarah
A lovely comfortable cottage in a great location. Very well equipped with everything you could need
