Rose Cottage East Runton Reviews

Martyn
We liked the cottage. The location is very nice, the layout is great; having 2 sitting rooms is good, it allows people to do their own thing, e.g watch different TV channels. I wasnâ??t enamoured with the furniture, an eclectic mix which some people might like, but personally, I found it a bit on the cheap side. It seemed that it was probably acquired from an auction or charity shop. The beds, we used two, were very comfortable. I donâ??t know who chose the curtains in the front right bedroom, but do you realise that their function is to keep the light out? We loved the garden but it was overgrown and badly in need of some tlc. Cleanliness is an issue, lots of cobwebs and dust, it wasnâ??t filthy but it really needs a deep clean. My opinions may seem a bit negative but overall, we enjoyed our stay and would visit again, but not for that price.
Nicola
Rose cottage is a beautiful traditional Norfolk cottage with plenty of space for our big family and a lovely enclosed garden for our dog. The local shops are very close and our favourite beach is just a short walk. The cottage was perfect for our holiday and we will definitely book again.
Sarah
Such a beautiful base for a wonderful holiday. We were a family of 7 with mixed ages. The cottage was very roomy with and a great layout for us all. The games room and double sitting room pleased the younger members no end! The rooms are all huge and very comfy. The garden is also gorgeous and so fun to explore!
Yvonne
Overall the place is great. Lots of space for a family to hang out either all together or separately as the place has two large rooms. Bedrooms are a really decent size. Garden could do with a tidy up and cut back, however it has a cool little games room with pool, table tennis and air hockey. Really close to the beach, 5 mins max walk. Couple of local pubs and the most incredible restaurantâ?¦.. the white horse! This place is a must! Little local shop that sells everything and the friendliest staff.
Graham
Lovely cottage in a great location 10 minutes from the beach. Very comfortable with plenty of space to chill out. The outdoor dining area was great for family meals but perhaps could do with some shade. Would highly recommend this cottage
Alan
A lovely cottage which was well situated for our needs, the cottage itself was very spacious with comfortable furniture and the kitchen was full with everything you need, the games room had a pool table which can be turned into an air hockey table or converted into a table tennis table, the cupboard in the dining room also hid many board games that we enjoyed immensely. All in all if we holiday back in the same area we wouldnâ??t hesitate to to re book.
