Is Rose Cottage West Runton Right For You?

Discover why this cottage is ideal for different types of visitors

For Families
The woodland garden at Rose Cottage provides natural exploration space for young adventurers. West Runton beach within walking distance offers fossil hunting and crabbing activities. The large terraced garden has multiple areas for outdoor play. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms give families plenty of space. Sheringham Park and Felbrigg Hall provide educational days out within 4 miles.
For Couples
Rose Cottage works better for groups than couples due to its size. The four-bedroom layout and multiple reception rooms suit families rather than romantic getaways. However, the wood burner creates cosy evenings and the National Trust woodland setting offers peaceful walks. The decked area with floor lighting provides atmospheric outdoor dining. Cromer and Sheringham offer restaurant options nearby.
Pet Friendly
Rose Cottage West Runton does not accept pets. Dogs are not allowed at this property under any circumstances. The strict no-pets policy applies to all bookings regardless of size or duration. Guests with dogs should look for alternative Norfolk cottages that welcome animals. The woodland setting and nearby beaches would suit dog walking but the property rules prohibit this.

Rose Cottage West Runton Reviews

Bryan David
Lovely, spacious cottage, very well appointed - but difficult to find initially. The road is (or was) very busy when we arrived and we both missed it (travelling in 2 cars)! Perhaps a more noticeable house name plate at the roadside would be helpful. We all enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you.
Barbara
A clean well equipped comfortable house. The Jack and Jill bathroom was tricky and also did not have a shower that worked just a trickle over the bath and with our family arrangement meaning five used the other bathroom. There is a shower room downstairs. The kitchen is very well equipped. The table football was popular. Nice clean beach nearby with little cafe but a good walk if carrying anything. Our mixed age family enjoyed their stay in a relaxed atmosphere.
Andrew
Lovely cottage and grounds, good central location close to North Norfolk coast. would agree with previous review about lack of wardrobe and drawers in two of the bedrooms, loads of space downstairs but may struggle to sleep 8 adults we were a group of five and used one bedroom as a dressing room so ok for us.
Carol
Delightful cottage , good equipment provided even a wine fridge ! The beds were all very comfortable and everywhere was spotless . The garden was a joy . Only drawback was the lack of wardrobe space and drawers in two bedrooms but not a disaster . We really enjoyed our stay .
Anne
This is a beautiful property and very quiet, despite the road. Garden looks great and the rooms are perfect for us. Well furnished and equipped. The deer and the toad kept us amused with their antics in garden. Overall a lovely time and so convenient for so many places.
Joanne
Location and layout were fabulous. Great space for a family to use.
Tracy
The property is amazing with lovely grounds. We had everything we needed. Close to Cromer and Sheringham. The cottage is big enough that you don't get under everyone's feet. Highly reccomended
Lisa
Lovely location, very spacious love the having the deer visit every morning.
Rosie
A lovely spacious house with lovely gardens and plenty of outdoor space. Located close to the train station, although be aware of needing to walk down a busy road to get there, and about 30 minutes walk from West Runton beach
Deborah
We very much enjoyed our visit to Rose cottage. There were seven of us in total. Itâ??s a great spot for local sight seeing and golf clubs. Great outside spaces to enjoy, an established garden with lots of birds and deer to enjoy. Clean and tidy with good facilities in the house. Good, adequate parking also available.
Geoff
We throughly enjoyed our stay, all equipment functioned well. Situated exceptionally well, even deer in the garden. Couldnâ??t have been better.
Annie
Wonderful, quiet and peaceful place to stay. Equipped with almost everything you didn't know you needed. Perfect for a long stay winter or summer. Lots of places to choose from to hide away from the others to do the "nothing" of your choice. Absolutely perfect and I will be back again as soon as I can.
Julia
A very comfortable house. Well equipped.
Alan
An ideal destination for a family
