Is St Benets Right For You?

Discover why this cottage is ideal for different types of visitors

For Families
The enclosed garden with lawn provides safe outdoor play space. Bewilderwood is just 4 miles away offering treetop adventures and woodland activities. Winterton beach is 8 miles from the door for sandcastle building and seal spotting. Potter Heigham boat hire lets families explore the Broads together. The cottage has plenty of space with two living areas and four bedrooms for larger families.
For Couples
St Benets is not ideal for couples as it sleeps eight guests across four bedrooms. The property is designed for large families or two families sharing rather than romantic breaks. The size and layout make it impractical for just two people. Couples would be better suited to a smaller cottage with one or two bedrooms in the Norfolk area.
Pet Friendly
St Benets does not accept dogs or any other pets. The property has a strict no-pets policy. If you're travelling with a dog you'll need to find alternative accommodation in the Norfolk area that welcomes animals. The enclosed garden and rural location would otherwise be suitable for pets, but the owners do not permit them.

St Benets Reviews

Graham
This is a comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a secluded location away from traffic and crowds.
Delphine
Beautiful large property suitable for large parties/families. The garden was really lovely and with 3 small grandchildren it was a godsend when we returned from a day out. They could run around and make noise without disturbing anyone else. The property itself is very well equipped. Location was perfect for us and Ludham itself is a lovely little village. Would highly recommend.
Sandra
We had a fabulous holiday at St Bennetts last week. There were seven adults in our group and there was plenty of space for us all. I could see that the cottage was set up really well for children too and would make an excellent base for a multigenerational group holiday. We loved the fact that the location was so quiet and there were a group of three deer who visited the field behind us every morning and evening - an added bonus. It was a great base for us to explore Norfolk and we made the most of the broads, the quiet lanes for cycling and the local beaches.
Rose
this was a wonderful place to have our 2 families stay over new year. cosy and roomy and well equipped,(including 3 christmas trees!) and, as other reviewers have noted, perfect for the 2 families to have their own areas for sleeping(and 2 staircases!). Great to be near enough to the sea for winter walks, a lovely christmas light experience just up the road, little ones loved! we would definitely come back, summer or winter!
Leonora
The house is in a very peaceful location just out of Ludham village with very easy access to a pub, butchers and convenience store amongst other amenities. The garden is beautiful to sit out in weather permitting and we made good use of the BBQ provided. The bedroom layouts offer a lot of flexibility and worked really well for our extended family group.
Kevin
The house was very clean and welcoming, and very easy to relax in. The only problem was that the dishwasher broke down, which can happen anywhere!
