Stable Lads Cottage Reviews

Colleen
We loved the cozy cottage. It is small, but as a couple we had no problem with that. Easy walk through the churchyard to the Ship Inn where we had an excellent meal (make reservations for weekends). The back door garden area was really nice for our small dog to get outside in a secure area. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom is on the upper floor next to the bedroom. The shower is a little tricky, probably better to take a bath, but it is manageable. Had a fun day visiting Cley Beach and walking the trails at Holkham Hall with the dog.
Yvonne
It would be useful to know if there is any alternative parking nearby. The space was tight (I only have a fiesta) but the guy in the end cottage was agitated about being close to his fence!
Neil
Excellent cottage throughout, very comfortable and a real home from home and romantic as in the description on the website.
Joanne
The cottage is small but well equipped and very clean. It stated clearly that showering could be an issue, we found it to be fine but it could be tricky for less agile people. Parking was tight, again this was stated , we were lucky that our neighbours while we were there also had a smallish car. The village of Weybourne is very pretty with a good pub and cafe. We found everyone to be very friendly. Lots of good walks and places to visit. A lovely cottage, I would stay again.
Maggie
The cottage was very very clean butâ?¦we were not expecting it to be white so tiny. Although it had everything that was needed we just found it too small. Also, itâ??s the first cottage we have ever stayed in who do not leave a welcome pack. Not even tea and coffeeâ?¦.nothing
Stephen
Too small, cobwebs all over the place and smells of dogs with urine and poo stains not cleaned up. The screen doesn't stop the dogs. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. Weâ??ll investigate this right away to make sure everythingâ??s in place for the next guest.
John
Stable Lads cottage is in a good location. It has been tastefully equipped but it is very small. The main problem as mentioned by other guests is the shower is unusable. We are quite short people but you would not be able to stand up in the bath! The Ship Inn and local cafe are both excellent. Also on bus route is very useful. We will not be booking again though.
Shirley
Extremely comfortable and well equipped pretty cottage live music provided by the resident blackbird in the sun trap courtyard. Situation superb a very friendly village close to the sea. Local pub and cafe both excellent. I will definitely look to stay again.
Pam
Lovely comfortable settee and bed. Lots of utensils in the kitchen. Ideal location with great local pub and cafe. Very friendly community.
Louise
A really lovely little cottage. Small but was perfect for me and my spaniel. Visited at a very quiet time of the year so what I should imagine is a busy road in high season wasnâ??t a problem. There is a designated parking space but itâ??s quite tight. If all the adjacent properties were booked then you will need to be careful reversing into it or out of it from the main road in if busy. Bathroom is in the eaves so if you want a shower you need to sit down.
Lesley
A little gem. Really well equipped and very comfortable, especially the reclining settee!. This was our second visit. Upstairs â?¦. The bed is comfortable with quality linen. The en-suite is ok but you have to do a Quasimodo act in order to have a showerâ?¦.kneeling in the bath was the only way but geriatric knees didnt like it ! A welcome pack would be an excellent addition.
Claire
Stable Lads cottage was an idyllic little retreat for us for the week. Warm and cosy on cooler nights. High end fittings and appliances. Very peaceful with a lovely small private outside courtyard.
David
A well modernised pet friendly small cottage for two with some quite high tech features.Owners went to considerable trouble to provide a comprehensive booklet of information on the cottage and surrounding area plus a summary screen of WiFi and arrival/ leaving information
Jackie
the cottage was lovely, very comfortable with everything we needed
Rbin
Stable Lads cottage is a very comfortable and ideally situated for exploring the North Norfolk coast. It is well maintained and equipped but is on the small side. Having said that would not hesitate in recommending it for a stay.
Ian
This cottage is well equipped, clean and cosy. The location is superb and is only a short walk from a small local shop, The Ship Inn which does great food ( the best fish and chips I've ever tasted) and the beach which streches for miles. The only drawback is the lack of a proper shower, You need to be agile to use the bath and there is no room for even a short person to stand in order to towel off. Parking is OK but could be an issue if all the spaces were occupied but I would suggest reversing in, it makes getting out much easier
Julie
We found the cottage comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location was great and we hope to book again.
Susan
Overall we enjoyed the stay
John
A cosy and well equipped cottage for a break in Coastal Norfolk. The kitchen was small but well equipped, the bed was very comfortable as was the sofa . The parking space was adequate but access is right on the main coast road so it took a little getting used to. A good base to explore North Norfolk with Holt, Sheringham , the North Norfolk railway and a number of National Trust properties only a short drive away. Many good places to eat close by.
Joanna
Lovely cottage great location to go exploring
Robert
Over all the cottage was very comfortable, and very well equipped.
Paul

Louise Elizabeth

Nicola
We really enjoyed our stay at Stable Lad's Cottage. It was very cosy and comfy. The bed was great (if you can send me the make of divan and mattress I may even buy one).
Michael
