Firstly, this is our third stay at Swallows Nest in ,2025. The facilities are excellent and a perfect retreat providing cosy and very comfortable accommodation, Property has everything you would need for a self catering home from home. Lucy the on- site owner is Brilliant and make you Very welcome,Christmas tree and home made mince pies a superb touch and on hand should you need help.

Lovely little annexe, nicely decorated & equipped with everything I needed. Lucy is a lovely, friendly host & even left some fantastic homemade brownies for me! Plenty of information left about the locality. If you're looking for somewhere to eat the 3 Horseshoes in Briston & the Olive Tree in Snoring are well worth a visit! Did have a problem with the heating not working - this is controlled from the main house - whilst Lucy was away overnight but she quickly provided an oil radiator on her return. Nice secure rear garden gave peace of mind for my dog, Ollie. Thank you Lucy, lovely to meet you & hope to return if the bed's resolved Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your feedback, we have spoken to the owners and we can confirm the heating issue has been sorted and they have replaced the bed.

For a peaceful holiday with your dog companion, this cottage is perfect. Set in the quiet village of Briston, it has everything you need. Clean, comfortable and everything you need for your break. Whether you want to go out and explore the area, or just enjoy the peace and quiet. It is perfect. It has an enclosed garden, everything is all on one level if you have trouble with mobility. And if your lucky, you might even have a little treat awaiting you in the fridge upon arrival. Couldn't recommend highly enough, we will be returning. Hosts are excellent and welcoming. A local shop is around 2 minutes away by car, and a couple of local pubs are relatively close. Excellent

For us it was simply perfect. Clean and comfortable with more than enough room for two and a dog. Definitely slept well in the deceptive looking bed. In easy reach of Holt and the coast plus some hidden gems well advertised in the many guide books on offer or ask Lucy who is a font of knowledge. Our second stay and the cottage like the weather were more than we could have expected.
