The Heacham House Reviews

Greg
The property was very comfortable and well appointed. A real home from home. The location was absolutely spectacular with un-impeded views out to sea. As others have described, itâ??s like being on a cruise ship. We loved our week there and will definitely be back.
Petria
This is a perfect get away location especially if you have four legged friends. When the tide is in, the upper level which has a really comfy seating area is spectacular and gives the effect of being on a cruise ship. We would definitely return. Some days we had the huge long beach to ourselves. Thank you to the owners for sharing it! :-)
Becky
This was our second stay at Heacham House. We weren't so lucky with the weather this year though, thanks Storm Floris! Still, the sea views are amazing and there was plenty of space for the six of us to spread out whilst we were house bound.
Claire
Not sure the property is still rated 5 star. Whilst the house is lovely, it is tired inside and needs some TLC together with a deep clean. We paid five star price but felt it was not good value for money! Maybe need to review pricing or spend some money upgrading the property. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our service.
Beverley
Wonderful cottage in the most appealing setting. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable lounge. Perfect for dog walks on the beach and to the other side along the banking
Ian
An epic location for wildlife fans. In one evening we saw common seals, muntjac deer and cockchafer beetles all from the patio. We saw 2 bats on the last night. Fantastic views and great for the dog
Jason
Stunning location and a short walk to Hunstanton. View is like a Cruise ship when tide is in!! Very well equipped kitchen and plenty of space.
Andrew
Lovely place for a very relaxing holiday, great to be able to take the dog directly from the house to the beach, I am sure I would use this accommodation again.
Heather
None of us wanted to leave!! The location was perfect, the house ideal, well appointed, wanted for nothing other than to be able to come back soon!
Aileen
A very well equipped and comfortable home that met the needs of a 3 generational stay. Sea and sky views were wonderful all week.
Pauline
The house has everything you could need on holiday and has a wonderful view as well
Claire
Good location. Property in need of some tlc.
Susan
Lovely place, comfortable and spacious. This property does not have an enclosed garden for small dogs.
Glynis
Great accommodation - able to walk from the patio / decking, down the steps and straight to the beach. Fantastic sunsets, lovely views, spacious, well equipped, warm accommodation. Would definitely stay again.
Frances

Tim

Colin
Fantastic location great for walks
Ruth
Great location, nearer to Hunstanton than Heacham, but in a quiet spot. Very comfortable upstairs sitting room with great view.
Derek
Very much as described , great views of sea and promenade - plenty of space even at maximum capacity
Becky
We had a wonderful stay in late July. The location is amazing. It feels like you have your own private beach. The house was fabulous and very well equipped. Hunstanton is walking distance and offers everything you need for a super seaside holiday. We enjoyed our time at the house so much we have already booked for 2025. One thing to note- cash is king in Hunstanton so make sure you take plenty! We had problems with contactless payments and a lot of places only accepted cash.
Clare
Having not stayed at The Heacham House for 5 years (was pre-covid) we really noticed the improvements to the property. The drive-way, the deck furniture (brilliant!), the additional under-stairs storage and by far the best thing when travelling with two older teenage boys â?¦ the super-fast fibre based internet access (a must!) - no complaints there at all. The property is still perfect for our needs in terms of lay-out/number of bedrooms and bathrooms and the dog loved the freedom/access to the beach. Super-well equipped all around â?¦ but itâ??s not quite as new and perfect as it was 5 years ago, but this was a beach holiday and we didnâ??t need new/perfect given the constant access onto the beach and into the sea. Stunning sun-sets and friendly seals popping by constantly.
Debbie
Beautiful spot and the property overall is very comfortable. Ideally situated and had everything you could need. No issues with wifi, as some previously stated. Only thing that could make it a little better is some maintenance to the decking area and a little more luxurious outdoor furniture.
Adam
Relaxing location whether sunshine or rain. Uninterrupted view of the sea with stunning sunsets. Well equipped and comfortable accommodation catering for all generations and dogs. A dog haven with long easy walks along the water front. A good base to explore this area of Norfolk.
Mary
Fabulous, spacious, comfortable accommodation. Very well equipped for a relaxing break, Situated in a peaceful setting with access to the beach and promenade. Wonderful views of sunsets over the sea from the balcony. Unfortunately we couldn't access WIFI as advertised during our stay.
Emma
A lovely property with stunning views. WiFi went off during stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had great weather too!
Katie
A fantastic house in a truly remarkable location. Very well appointed with all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting.
Janice
A beautiful property with amazing views, when the tide was in, it looked and felt like it was at the bottom of the garden! Spacious light and airy and well equipped with nice comfy beds and furniture.
Ann
Heacham house is remarkable, the views and sunsets were awesome . We had everything we needed. Weâ??ve been telling everyone about it.
Janet
The location of the property right on the beach was the reason we booked and it didnâ??t disappoint. Facing west we could look out a beautiful sunsets over the sea. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped
Sally
Amazing location with terrific access to the coastal path. 3 good bedrooms and bathrooms and well equipped.
