The Lookout Morston Reviews

Alan
The cottage its self is brilliant. We found it spacious, comfortable and clean. The views are outstanding and the proximity to the coastal path has been such a gift. The cottage shares outside space with. Number of other cottages who allow campers which can bring noise and a lack of privacy. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk - Thank you for your feedback we have passed this onto the homeowner who has confirmed the tents were erected for a short period in August for the neighbours children to enjoy.
John
The home was exactly as displayed in the photographs. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment including 3 fridges. Nice comfortable sofas and great views from the glass extension though pity about the trees blocking the main view of Morston Quay!
Gillian
We enjoyed our second stay at the cottage and hope to stay again in 2026. The views are spectacular, especially the sunsets The cottage is cosy, comfortable, well equipped and peaceful. It did get very hot in the sitting room with its wonderful windows on a couple of sunny days. The welcome pack was great When we had a problem with the bathroom light failing, it was efficiently solved by a friendly electrician.
Peter
This was our fourth stay at the Lookout and we had a very enjoyable week. The cottage is spacious, with lovely views from the first floor glass living room over the marshes and the sea in the distance. The property is right on the coastal path and walking to Blakeney is a pleasant 25 minute stroll.
Tracey
We recently stayed at this beautiful cottage in North Norfolk and had the most wonderful holiday. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by everything â?? the welcome hamper was such a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the rest of our stay. The cottage itself was spotless and incredibly well-equipped â?? every little detail had been considered, making it feel like a true home away from home. The balcony offered breathtaking views, and we spent many peaceful moments just soaking it all in. The surrounding area was perfect for walks, with stunning scenery and an abundance of birdlife that made each outing special. It was the perfect mix of comfort, nature, and tranquility. We canâ??t recommend this place highly enough and are already dreaming of our next visit!
Sarah
Beautiful, comfortable home with stunning views. As keen bird watchers my dad and I spent most of our three night stay in the conservatory. We enjoyed being able to walk from the garden straight into Morston quay. A very relaxing stay, we hope to be back soon
Paul
Perfectly positioned, Cottage with stunning views across the marshes. Immaculate, would highly recommend, particularly for walkers and nature lovers.
Kate
We booked the cottage due to its fabulous view from the upstairs glass extension and we weren't disappointed. It was so relaxing to sit there and watch all the birds and flocks of geese flying over. A very chilled out place to be .
Kathleen
The cottage was lovely with fantastic views over Morston quay.
Lona
We loved The Lookout it was a beautiful cottage, in a fabulous location.
Linda
A lovely and comfortable end terrace cottage with wonderful views. Peaceful and with a cut through to the coastal path.
Sharon
A lovely cottage with amazing views on 3 sides. Very comfortable and homely. Would definitely recommend. Dog owners just be aware that there is no fence between the 2 gardens (the large lawned area is divided in two) so dogs can wander over. But it wouldnâ??t put me off from staying again.
Andrew
Fabulous location and views. Perfect for walkers and nature lovers.
Mark
Perfect location. Nice and quiet with easy access to plenty of walks around the quay and the Norfolk Coastal Path.
Vicci
lovely house and location. We appreciated the clever upgrading of a simple cottage into a well designed and impressive house without compromising its character.
Gillian
The cottage was lovely: carefully converted to reflect both modern and period vibes. The views are outstanding. Its proximity to the sea and coastal walks are great. It is comfortable, clean and well equipped. We regretted forgetting to bring binoculars as there was so much to see, including beautiful sunsets and apparently aurora borealis, but we didn't stay up until 1.00am to view that! We would love to visit again.
Terry
This is a smashing cottage and we can heartedly recommend it
Angela
This is a very cosy and atmospheric cottage with magnificent views over the marsh from the lookout. Everything needed was provided including, lovely thick cotton sheets and towels and a very nice welcome pack of local products. The woodburner was very efficient and easy to manage although minimal logs were provided for our stay (an unusually cold and wet April). Great location for the coastal path and easy walks to Blakeney and Cley where delicious seafood, coffee and bakery products are available along with general groceries and a range of hostelries. An easy drive to other villages and places of interest but the coastliner bus service also provides a convenient alternative. Overall a very enjoyable break.
Alison
We really enjoyed our stay at The Lookout. The view is wonderful and location straight onto the coastal path is great.
Jo
Had the most relaxing stay at The Lookout, couldn't have asked for anything more. Fantastic cottage, clean, comfortable & well equipped. Incredible views from the balcony, the high spring tides rolling in were spectacular. Seal trips from the bottom of the garden pretty much & lovely walk along the coastal path to Blakeney a must. Had a fabulous time, thank you.
David
Really comfortable cottage. Great location and of course great views from the lounge windows.
