The Stables Mulbarton Reviews

Michelle
Absolutely charming little place! It is old fashioned which adds to it's character. It's very cosy and warm, comfortable bed and well equipped. I absolutely loved it and was absolutely stay again. The owner popped by which I thought was a lovely personal touch. I can't recommend this place enough. The grounds are amazing and perfect for dog owners. The price was excellent. Would love to come back
Christopher
The cottage needed a good clean and the facilities could do with modernisation
Anese
Ok as a base. Very small, not good if you have mobility concerns (large step up into shower) and bathroom is only a doors' width. Fridge and cupboard space low down. Cosy living and dining area. Good for access to Norwich and local areas, good bus route, 2 takeaways and 1 pub in walking distance. Opposite a Common, great for dog-walking bit cottage dies not have a garden or enclosed area so you would have to always exercise a dog on lead. Small pond, church, social club and tea-bus all near.
Keith
On arrival we found that the cottage was quite dusty in various places, the kitchen was very basic, it is shabby and is in need of refurbishment.
Julie
The cottage was a nice bolt hole but is in need of some modernisation. It is in an ideal place for holiday makers bringing their dog with them,as the common nearby would be great for dog walks. Mulbarton is very central and the local bus service to Norwich is very good. There are some lovely walks nearby too. Overall we enjoyed our stay for the price that we paid.
Jim
Cottage needs more facilities like a tv with more channels !!!!!! A oven to cook hearty meals !!!!!!!! And a linen line for your clothes to dry !!!!!
Karen
Location good.
Linda
Tired and badly in need of some attention. Previous reviews warned us of what to expect and although small it provided us and our dog with what we needed for the price paid and could be cosy. Shower worked well and bed comfortable but furniture covers could do with washing and armchair arm protector covers. TV remote all chewed up but TV reception good. This could be a little gem, we loved the common, and local facilities a great area to stay in
Rhonda
Ideally situated for dog walking as literally opposite large common. Easy access to plenty of seaside attractions. Walking distance to pub, co op, very good fish and chip shop and equally tasty Chinese takeaway. Very friendly locals.
