The Turnip House Reviews

Julien
The cottage was lovely, very cosy, nicely furnished, and well designed for a young family of four.
Terence
A large and good property sadly let down by cleaning issues which were really inexcusable. Maintenance man was called out and fixed what he could. Car is certainly needed. The "Pigs" and "Kings Head" in Holt are worth visiting. Many lovely places nearby and Holt Country Park is very peaceful. Sheringham, Wells, Blakeney and Holt are all worth a visit. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We are dealing with your feedback and can confirm all will be rectified.
Kj
Our second visit! Wonderful property and great location. Great place to relax and feel at home.
Emma
We had a wonderful week in The Turnip Barn. Itâ??s beautifully decorated and it had everything that we needed for a very comfortable stay. It was in a great location for exploring Norfolk and waking up to the horses and chickens each morning was so lovely! We would happily return.
Christopher
On arrival every thing was as advertised, easy entry , Nice welcome pack, good storage for all our bits and pieces. comfortable beds, Overall, good value for the price.
Sara
Beautiful property in a wonderful location, nice and peaceful, well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Toni
The property is spacious with a lovely walled courtyard to sit out in . As walkers it was an ideal base for exploring and also had many footpaths and tracks a short distance walk away. The open planned Lounge dinner is a good social space. We felt strongly the property was let down by the level of cleanliness on arrival and essential supplies. We have fed this back to the proprietors as we understand it is maintained by the cottage company? There was a delightful welcome pack - Thank you! Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our service.
Emma
Turnip cottage is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Norfolk countryside. It definitely is worth a visit. The view of the horses each morning was a bonus. I would happily live there!
Stuart
We enjoyed our stay at The Turnip House. It was very comfortable, well equipped and in a quiet and peaceful setting. The layout suited us fine travelling as a couple but guests with children should be made aware that the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the cottage and that there is a short flight of stairs to the main bedroom. This would be useful information for disabled guests too. Ros & Stuart.
Julie
One of the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. Spacious and comfortable, excellent parking in a peaceful setting. Great location for coast and local National Trust properties. We will definitely return.
Sheila
