The cottage was not as clean as it should have been. There was a problem with the rear door lock. The management company helped to resolve this issue as soon as we raised it by providing keys to the front door.

We had an incredible stay. The cottage had everything we could need and was really comfortable. We were really impressed with the modern and useful tech around the cottage including usb sockets, motion sensor bathroom fan, digital heaters and light sensitive night lights to guide you across the landing at night. Even with all this, the cottage still retains it's charm. The garden was truly dog friendly and very secure, with a lovely large lawn for our dog to play. The cottage was in a brilliant location with easy access to shops and walks from the doorstep. The parking was super convenient too. We felt so at home at Town Yard and in Cley, that we immediately booked in again for next year! This has now become our favourite holiday destination.

As previous visitors to Cley-next-the-Sea, our first stay in Town Yard Cottage proved to be a real find. Very comfortable with a superb bathroom and shower, perfect peaceful location within the village and always good to have a parking space and an enclosed garden for our dog. We very much enjoyed our stay in Town Yard Cottage; it is well-equipped with so many home comforts. The owners are clearly very thoughtful in all they provide. It also has the exceptional benefit of parking and a sunny garden, whilst being in walking distance of the charming shops, restaurants and coast of Cley. Best yet!

The cottage was lovely and comfortable and perfectly located for bird and seal watching, we enjoyed walks straight from the cottage to the marshes and Cley beach and it was only a short drive to other beaches and walks. The sofas and beds were very comfortable and it was very well equipped with everything we needed. The shower was amazing! Tastefully decorated for Christmas too, which was a nice touch.

This is not the first time we have stayed in this cottage, but since changing hands, has undergone an update of the bathroom which has improved the facilities. The staircase has always been a challenge due to shape etc, so not for the infirm.

Town Yard Cottage is a lovely place to stay for a holiday. Everything was clean and tidy, there was a very nice welcome pack waiting for us on our arrival and our dog settled in straight away. The lovely garden was very secure for her so we had no worries at all about her safety. There are 2 dog friendly pubs within easy walking distance and a good Coasthopper bus service which we used to go further along the coast and then walk back to Cley. We managed to do the whole coast in sections from Wells-next-the-sea to Sheringham in the week that we were there. Highly recommended.

A lovely, comfortable and clean cottage close to the centre of Cley. So handy to have a parking space and the garden is very pretty as well as being enclosed. We received a very generous welcome pack from the local deli. The bed linen and towels are of good quality and the beds were quite comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for holiday cooking and the fridge freezer is very handy (so many holiday cottages only have a little fridge with an icebox). The living room is very cosy and comfortable. We would certainly return to Town Yard Cottage.
