Barn End Reviews

Kate
Great trip to Norfolk in a lovely barn with friends. Bigger than expected and was nice to have rooms to close things away in and space for four adults and four children. Highly recommend.
Ben
Nice Barn, very spacious
Helen
The cottage was lovely with an enclosed garden if you have dogs. But there were dog walks on the doorstep and the various beaches were a short drive away. it was very quiet location with only the sound of the Owls in the morning. The cottage was well fitted out and very comfortable. Beds were very good and had a fantastic nights sleep. Would definitely look at staying again
Sue
Lovely property . We had a super week
Helen
This barn conversion is so lovely. Very well equipped, very clean, very comfortable. It is in a great location for visiting the coast, Sandringham, etc. we were two couples with 3 dogs and it was easy to keep the house clean as there are 2 utility rooms we could use for feeding the dogs, hanging our coats and storing our boots and shoes. Would definitely recommend this barn.
M
A brilliant property in a really lovely place. We have been several times and look forward to going back again.
Julia
Lovely clean property with ample space. Great location to visit different towns and beaches. Please be aware the local pub does not open on Mondays or Tuesdays.
Karl
Nicely appointed and spacious property, well equipped. Plenty of space for all. Good secure garden and Ideal location for some of Norfolk's beaches and and attractions such as Sandringham
Andrew
The cottage was lovely and location to stay in, right in the centre of everywhere we visited. Itâ??s set back from the road through Stanhoe which made it very pieceful.

Peter
A great cottage in a wonderful location. A spacious well equipped property with the added advantage of a utility room and separate boot room ideal for feeding dogs. Lovely private secure garden. Ideally positioned to allow access to lovely beaches walks and towns. Enjoyed visits to Sandringham Cromer Hunstanton Wells Sheringham Burnham Market and our favourite beaches at Brancaster and Holkham. Disappointed to find that the Duck was closed for the duration of our stay as it came highly recommended, Enjoyed good food at Skulthorpe Mill and Bang in Wells. and a special shout out to fish and chips at Erics in Thornham. Very friendly locals and very dog friendly almost everywhere. We will be returning
Alli
Highly recommend this lovely property. Very spacious, warm and comfortable. Great enclosed garden for our dogs. The location is great to explore north Norfolk. Fabulous meal on our last night in the Duck Inn.
Nick
Great holiday and what a fantastic cottage. Absolutely spotless, looked like everything in it was brand new. Kitchen had everything we needed and whole house was warm on our arrival. Would love to come back and would definitely recommend.
Lynn
This is a beautiful well furnished property, with lots of space, the interior decoration was very tasteful. We have rented several properties both summer and Christmas over many years and found this property one of the best we have stayed in both for spacious and comfort.
Louise
This is an excellent place to stay. Clean and comfortable with plenty of kitchen equipment. Great to have an enclosed garden for our dog. Close to the sea and many great places to visit.
Tessa
We had a very good stay at Barn End, celebrating two family birthdays. The house was very warm and comfortable with good furnishings and well equipped for family entertaining. The snug was very good for two children under four when they woke very early and the noise could be contained away from other sleeping adults. The location was ideal for visiting attractions on the north and west coast and was close to Thornham, Burnham Market and Holt for good shopping and food. We valued the parking availability as we had family coming in three cars from different locations, this would not have been available in properties closer to the coast.
Natalie
Beautiful house for two families to chare with ease and comfort. Our dog also loved the stay with a lovely enclosed garden. The house is in a great location to be able to explore. The emails prior to arriving were very informative and gave us all the information required for a smooth arrival. Our children are now asking when we can come back.
Dawn
Absolutely beautiful place to stay, accommodation and location both excellent. Would definitely stay again, had a really good relaxing week which was enjoyed by all the family.
Helen
Great cottage, very well equipped, lovely garden and great location. Would definitely recommend especially if you have dogs, it was great to relax in the garden knowing they could not get out. The Duck Inn is about 5 mins walk and the food and atmosphere was excellent, lovely walks around the village and lots of areas in easy driving distance.
Steve
Wonderful holiday home in quiet, peaceful setting.Well appointed throughout and in a good location to explore the amazing coastline and countryside.
Marie
Barn End was perfect in every way. The house was full of character but really modern and spacious with everything you need. Bright and clean rooms that were full of style and charm and had a really lovely atmosphere. The garden was enclosed and perfect for the dog. A short walk away was The Duck, a lovely gastro pub with a good menu and friendly staff. The barn was in a lovely village and only a short distance away from the coast. All in all an excellent choice and we will definitely be back. Marie, The Roses and Wilf.
Carole
Highly recommend this place to stay
Ann
Lovely cottage set in quaint village - great for dogs and walkers. Not too far from the coast - about 15-20 mins (only because local roads); we went to Old Hunstanton to take the dogs to the beach. Ffantastic beach wide and not busy but it was a May bank holiday and not the height of summer. Only downside is parking is £5 for 2 hours and disabled pay as well. The path down to the beach is very steep and not suitable for those with walking issues; wheelchairs would also struggle due to how steep the path is. House is fantastic and sleeps 6 - if you have children there is a snug as well as a main open area with kitchen, dining table and settees and TV. Both rooms have adequate seating which is rare in holiday lets. Beds very comfortable with spacious rooms. Parking at the front of the property will take 2/3 cars; garden is lovely and very private. Overall a great place to stay.
Lynne
