Corner Barn is a tranquil barn conversion set in the grounds of the owner's home in North Burlingham, Norfolk. Surrounded by mature trees and lawns and overlooking a pretty orchard, this is a genuinely peaceful spot for two. Exposed beams, bright soft furnishings and an open-plan lounge-kitchen-diner give it real character. Two adult bikes are provided so you can get straight out and explore.

North Burlingham sits in the heart of Norfolk, perfectly placed for the Broads National Park. Quiet lanes make cycling easy and Acle Bridge is just 5 miles away where you can hire a boat and get out onto the waterways. Sea Palling's sandy beach is 17 miles away. The Weavers' Way long-distance walking route passes nearby.

Accommodation is for two guests. The mezzanine double bedroom features sloping ceilings and exposed beams note the restricted head height. Downstairs there's a sleek shower room with WC. The open-plan living area has a breakfast bar, rattan sofa, TV/DVD and a bistro set in the enclosed garden.

Overall property cleanliness could be improved

Ideal property for 2 people though if you suffer from.bad back the bedroom with its slopping roof could be challenging. Centrally positioned for most of Norfolk

The cottage was adequate for our needs and in a good location for us. However when we arrived the property had not been cleaned - bedding and towels not changed and rubbish not emptied. The problem was resolved but it was extremely difficult to contact Holiday Cottages. There needs to be a dedicated line for this type of problem. Lighting in the lounge area was poor for reading.

The cottage was nicely equipped but there were lots of cobwebs in the beams above the bed and over one of the high windows. The window opposite the bed area had no curtains or blind so you could be seen from outside making it awkward to get undressed.
