Luggers Cottage is a beautifully converted former pub sitting in a central position in Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk. This is a characterful three-bedroom property sleeping up to six guests with a walled courtyard garden and genuine period features throughout.

Wells-next-the-Sea is a proper working Norfolk coastal town. You can walk to the quay to watch the creeks rise and fall with the tides and drop crab lines into the water. Independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms. There is a double bedroom on the first floor with its own WC and two twin bedrooms one on the first floor and one on the second. The ground floor has a family bathroom with shower over bath. The lounge features an inglenook fireplace with wood burner and a Smart TV.

Comfortable clean cottage in a great location for local amenities. Bathroom is downstairs next to kitchen with a smalll toilet closet in the main bedroom next to bed.which we found to not suit us. Parking is available but a bit tight for manoeuvring large vehicles. EV chargers (Genie Point) available in Car Park next to cottage. Free Car Parking from 6pm-8am.

The cottage is well equipped and has a central position for access to all the local amenities. All surrounding properties are holiday cottages and we encountered other holiday cottage guests blocking our access to the two parking spaces for Luggers cottage. These spaces are tight for SUV style family cars, there is a large public car park nearby. Please be aware that there is only one toilet accessible for most occupants and this is on the ground floor. The advertised separate WC on the first floor turned out to be a toilet in a tiny cupboard within the double bedroom, handy for the occupants of the double room but putting it out of use for all other guests, particularly as the cupboard door can't be shut once you're sitting on the toilet. The cottage is spacious enough for six guest though the first floor twin has no floor space for luggage to be positioned. All the staircases are shallow and access to the top floor twin is up a steep, and twisting staircase.

Perfect central location for exploring Wells. Plenty of pubs, bakeries and cafes within walking distance. Beautiful woodland trails and sandy beach 30mins walk away, perfect for dog walking! Parking is quite tight for large vehicles, less confident individuals may find it difficult to manoeuvre. Secure outdoor space with seating was lovely and outdoor tap was useful. Luggers cottage is in a beautiful part of Norfolk, our first time visiting wells next to the sea and we were not disappointed the holiday was made even more perfect by the property we rented , they have thought of everything, we have two girls under 10 who were safe to play in the outdoor space. My mum also came with us and had her own room up in the attic space which was beautifully decorated as were all the rooms . Definitely worth the money and worth a visit . We will be back again
