May Bell is a very welcoming and homely cottage. The location is very convenient for exploring Norfolk and also has 2 pubs within walking distance. Although there is no back garden the front of the property looks out onto a private courtyard with seating and small tables. This area catches the afternoon and evening sunshine and a cosy spot to sit after a day exploring. The welcome pack of local goodies was much appreciated.

May Bell cottage is in a great location to explore Kings Lynn area of Norfolk. Sandringham, Hunstanton are all within a few miles. It's a lovely cottage set in a court yard with lovely walks around the village. There's a supermarket and convenience store in Dersingham and 2 pubs. A garden centre with a cafe.

Wonderful cottage, lovely details, and clearly lots of care has been put into preparing it. Wish had been more clear that there was no private outside space, especially tricky with the dogs.

Although there was no garden the patio area was overlooking the quiet courtyard area and there was tethers for our dog so felt very safe. Our dog was made to feel very welcome which is really important to us with lovely treats provided as well as lovely treats for us too! We also had a message from the owners during our stay to check all ok and to contact them if any problems. Couldn't have asked for anything more and would definitely recommend this cottage. May Bell Cottage is an absolute delight perfectly located for almost everything in North Norfolk and so well equipped it's not true. We stayed at the back end of June and had a fabulous long weekend basing ourselves our of the cottage The welcome pack was very much appreciated and a really lovely touch. When we visit Norfolk again, and we definitely will visit again, we will take holiday around the availability of the cottage, it's that good.

The cottage was absolutely clean and tidy, everything that was needed was there even down to ice cubes for wine nights. Parking was no problem at all and the pub The Rose and Crown was spot on for evening meals we have used Sykes Cottages be for so we knew there would be no problems thanks for a lovely break,Barry and Irene.

We had a great week at May Bell cottage, it is comfortable and has everything you need and also very well decorated. We could fault it once we had sussed how to put the hot water on. There is lots to do. One of the places we enjoy was Langham Glass on Fakenham where we they show how they blow glass and then you can have a go yourself. We also fed the seal at the sealife centre.

We enjoyed a lovely week at the May Bell Cottage. The cottage is in a great location to explore West Norfolk and during our week we enjoyed trips to Snettisham Farm, Sandringham, Holkham, Wells, Kings Lynn and Hunstanton. The village is lovely and quiet, Sugar Lane and the recreation ground are near and perfect for dog walks. The village also has a Coop and Spar within walking distance. For eating out the Feathers in Dersingham was amazing so we went back on our final night. We also liked the Railway Inn in Docking. Avoid the Queen Victoria in Snettisham though! The cottage itself had everything we needed, it was stocked up with all the kitchen and bathroom essentials and the welcome hamper was a lovely addition. The WiFi was great and the TV in the lounge had all the channels including BBC iPlayer, Netflix etc. We brought our own Amazon Firestick and it wasnt needed. We found the cottage perfect in every way although the floors could have done with a more thorough clean before our arrival as our white socks were not very white! This is a place we will definitely consider booking again for one of our next Norfolk holidays. Thank you.

We were absolutely delighted with both the cottage and its site. Everything had been thought of regarding comfort and convenience! Welcome packs of goodies for both ourselves and our dogs had been left to include a bottle of Prosecco for us and there was information regarding local amenities and places to visit. The village is on the edge of Sandringham Estate with a pub called The Feathers nearby. We had dinner there, which was very good, and dogs are allowed. We missed having a small garden to just let the dogs out but there are plenty of nice walks nearby other dog walkers were very friendly! Do visit May Cottage it really is a homefromhome!
