Pilgrims Chase is a Grade II-listed Norfolk cottage in Bacton near Mundesley on the Norfolk coast. Part of a four-property complex with a large heated indoor swimming pool and gym, this three-bedroom cottage sleeps six and has been part of the collection since 2002. The grounds are mature and extensive with a shared lawn area.

A track from the garden leads directly to Bacton's sandy beach in under five minutes. Miles of coastline stretch in both directions. The village has a fish and chip shop, pubs and a couple of shops. Cromer's Blue Flag beach is 10 miles away.

The cottage has an open-plan lounge, dining room and kitchen with a Tudor brick fireplace and wood burner. There's a king-size master bedroom plus two bright twin rooms. One bedroom is downstairs. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The kitchen includes a Nespresso machine and dishwasher.

Cromer (10 miles) offers a Grade II listed pier and Blue Flag beach. BeWilderwood (14 miles) has treehouses and zip lines. The shared games room includes arcade games, pool table and table football.

We had a lovely week staying in the cottage. The facilities were very good for kids - great pool, games room and outdoor area. There was also lots to do in the general area, good walks to be had, places to visit and lovely coastline. Maxine the property manager was extremely welcoming and very helpful during our stay.

What an amazing place. The facilities were excellent, access to the swimming pool great and the outside space for active children great to have. The four very active children with us were never bored. Location close to the beach really was a bonus. Thank you for the most amazing welcome pack - unexpected and a real hit.

Lovely location and secure garden area - parking close by. Three bedrooms - all looking into the garden. The twin beds are on the small side - but very comfy ! Although a little tricky to find at first - the location is very quiet and an easy walk to a fabulous and fairly empty beach.

We had a wonderful time: very close to the beach, the swimming pool was fantastic, and Maxine was very helpful. The sauna was broken for the week that we were there, but that wasn't an issue as we wouldn't have used it anyway. We would definitely be keen to come back.
