The cottage has been modernised but keeps its historic character. A garden annexe sits separate from the main house offering privacy for two guests.

You can walk to the beach directly from the cottage cutting through beside neighbouring properties and coming out near Sea Henge. From there you can continue to Old Hunstanton or Thornham via the Norfolk Wildlife Trust café. Titchwell Marsh RSPB reserve is just 3 miles away.

The cottage was perfect for our annual family holiday with baby and dogs in tow. Probably the most dog friendly cottage we have stayed in. Being allowed to leave the dogs unattended in the utility room / toilet was a bonus and the very secure garden meant we could relax with the dogs outside, so thank you. Can't think of anything that wasn't available in the kitchen and the air fryer proved a hit for breakfast baps.

We loved the cottage and its perfect, quiet location just down the road from the White Horse pub. The walk to the beach is a bit longer for those with mobility issues, but nonetheless a very attractive stroll. The cottage is very well equipped, and we wanted for nothing during our stay. Would most definitely return.

Only one minor point - the roof gutter was blocked just to one side of bedroom 2, such that during heavy rain rainwater overspills onto the outside sill making it sound as though water was running into the bedroom, however it wasn't but in the middle of the night it gives you a bit of a fright!

Elma Cottage is a super property. Itâ??s well equipped, spotlessly clean and very warm and cosy. Also, ample parking off road was much appreciated. We spent Christmas week here, and the large table in the spacious kitchen/dining area was ideal for our festive family meals. The close proximity to the gorgeous beach and nature reserve made it a great place to stay.
