Happidays Reviews

Duncan
Superb beach side location especially for dog walking or an old fashioned bucket & spade holiday. Very secure large garden for the dogs to roam free. Beware of the unmade single track sand road leading to the property, low cars will bottom out! All major supermarkets deliver as does Amazon and many Chinese & Indian food outlets, there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance. Wi-Fi is limited or non existent-you need your own router/booster. We have stayed here many many times, but we like the solitude and walking the dogs on the beach.
Trisha
Weâ??ve been to Happidays many times now and we always enjoy it. Itâ??s a very comfortable cottage with everything we need. The sand dunes are behind the cottage and you are on the beach in a couple of minutes. The front of the cottage looks out across fields. Itâ??s always very relaxing whichever way you turn. There are plenty of places to explore on days out. Weâ??ve booked in for next year already! Thanks!
Samantha
Amazing location
Angela
Lovely cottage in a great location. Everything was perfect and we couldn't have wished for a better week. We'll definitely be back.
Katja
The location is amazing. Being at the beach within two mins just wonderful. Once the gate is mended, one has even direct access via the garden. The house needs a little love and more comfortable beds. The road leading to the house is more of a dirt track not suitable to slightly lower carsâ?¦ serious dips.
Caroline
Brilliant quiet smashing place had a lovely holiday thank you
Alexandra
Love the location very suitable for us both accommodation and location.
Mark
We had a really good relaxing holiday, Eccles on Sea is a lovely place, with lots of walks, such as Sea Palling, Happisburgh. Both my dogs loved the beach and going into the sea, every day, we are looking forward to going again next year
Andrew
Unbeatable location, ideal for our dogs. Also well placed for travelling to sites of interest.Well appointed property with everything you could need (bearing in mind that this is a self catering property). Fifth visit for us which reflects our opinion of the bungalow.
Duncan
Another great week relaxing at our â??home from homeâ? canâ??t wait to be back in July.
Mark
We really enjoyed our stay. Much better with the new kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, although we didnâ??t have a need to use them but would use them if needed.
Louise
The location is amazing.
Wendy
Just returned from a lovely Family Holiday at â??Happidaysâ??. The weather was great so there was a lot of outdoor living. Loads of space in the garden for cricket and football and generally lounging about. We were 3 generations (inc a 7 year old and 4 year old). More or less immediate access to the gorgeous beach. Plenty of space inside the cottage. Judy was a very helpful and friendly owner. No Wi-Fi - but not missed - in fact some might say a benefit. Would be very happy to stay again.
Ian
Great location and accommodation. View was gorgeous and so close to the beach.
Maggie
This was our 12th year at Happidays. It is our idea of a holiday. Quiet, no phones, no Internet, bliss.
Linda
Lovely location very peaceful. Hope to return again soon
Linda
Lovely cottage. Perfect getaway - lovely private entrance to the sand dunes and the beach access is only down to the next cottage. We loved the sound of the sea at night - it always sounded a lot closer than it was. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need. Loads of parking space and an enclosed garden which is perfect if you have dogs.
Duncan
Be prepared to be adaptable - hot water in kitchen is a mere trickle - boil the kettle. The shower has low water pressure - you canâ??t have a quick shower! The single track approach road is very narrow with troughs and ruts. The TV is too small for the lounge. The decking has seen better days. Despite the above, we have stayed here 5 times, and will return, the quiet location, closeness to the beach and secure garden for our dogs is incredible. Stalham (the nearest town) has everything you need supermarkets (who deliver) chemist, takeaways (some deliver) and many other shops. The owner (who you might meet) is delightful and very accommodating.
Susan
Fairly basic but comfortable holiday let, well situated for access to the beach and with a lovely open view to the front. The access road was a bit nerve-wracking on arrival, but got easier with use.
Rebecca
We had a lovely stay at Happidays. We had everything we needed for a relaxing, cosy seaside break. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and went out their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The cottage was beautifully presented and we would definitely love to return again! Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
