Pilgrims Prospect Reviews

Kerry
We had a lovely stay - the welcome pack was just brilliant, as was the swimming pool and the rota system meaning you had it to yourself for 90 minutes a day! The beach is literally 2 minutes down the road which is just perfect. Weâ??d highly recommend the Caramel cafe which is right next to the cottages - so very dog friendly! Note the gardens are communal and you have to keep your dog on a lead when outside which is not ideal when you want to sit outside - unless your dog is happy with that set-up. The cottage itself was lovely and full of character â?ºï¸

The cottage was fantastic for our family of 4 we loved the access to the pool, the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The sheets and towels were all beautifully clean and the beds were very comfortable. The children loved playing in the enclosed garden and the facilities available were great. We really enjoyed our stay in Pilgrims Prospect and hope to stay again very soon!
Karen
Lovely quirky cottage (we stayed in pilgrims prospect) beds very comfortable and had all amenities in cottage that we needed including many TV channels. Even a well thought out welcome basket of treats! Cottage was ideally placed for our dog with a fenced garden directly outside our door, although shared with pilgrims chase, but this never caused a problem. Location of cottages is a short stroll along the lane to the expanse of bacton beach which again was perfect for dog walks. The pool area was fantastic with lovely heated pool and showers, and although each cottage is allocated 1 and half hour slot of exclusive use each day, the manager Maxine was very approachable and accommodating to change our pool times to suit us! The added bonus of a small but nicely equipped games room with pool table/air hockey and a football table and video game machines was great for our teenaged son.

Excellent location and perfect for a small family holiday.

Weâ??ll definitely be back!

The cottage was perfect, the welcome pack was a lovely surprise and so much stuff. The swimming pool was fantastic especially having it to ourselves loved it. Having the beach was a great bonus. The trampoline and chess kept our 10yr old granddaughter occupied for hours. We found two lovely cafes close by, a vegan and Watsons lovely food. We had a great boat trip on norfolk broads which was only 12 mins away.will definitely be back.
