The Laurels Reviews

David
The bungalow was first class. Our 5 year old granddaughter loved her bedroom, especially the heart shaped pillow
Richard
Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, this is a very comfortable and well-equipped bungalow. There is everything you could need, from power adaptors to a tumble dryer. We didn't use the BBQ or open fire, but these were options. The garden gets lots of sun, and we had our breakfast outside every day. Off-road parking is handy too. Beds were comfortable, and there's a sofa in the main bedroom. There was an electric recliner chair too. All the instructions to the gadgets were available, which is useful when using the washing machine etc.
Tracey
Cottage was ok. In good quiet location. The kitchen worktop was covered in seeds from a loaf of bread I guess so wasn't properly cleaned. The beds weren't that comfy.
Anne
Cottage located in a tranquil place within walking distance to Holt town centre. We found the property airy and comfortable and we had a pleasant week visiting the local area.
Caterina
A fantastic place to stay it was quiet and had everything we needed for our family holiday.
Teresa
Bungalow is well maintained, clean and in an excellent location. Stayed a number of times at Laurels and overall can recommend highly.
Julie
A lovely, spacious cottage which is well equipped. I wasn't sure about being in a town, but the cul de sac was quiet and the location very good for touring.
Teresa
Lovely bungalow and garden. Quiet, but excellent location in relation to Holt Town and North Norfolk coast.
Caterina
Lovely well appointed home from home. Quiet location and great access to the Norfolk countryside. Would recommend.
Julia
Spacious, comfortable and a really good location. The owner has thought of everything. Would recommend.
Graham
The best self catering property I have been to over the years. This was my third visit.
Alison
The cottage was fully equipped and very comfortable. Close enough to be able to walk to Holt and drive to the coast. Nice of wine on our arrival made us feel very welcome.
Jennifer
Lovely bungalow in an excellent location for visiting the North Norfolk coast. Holt was within 10 minutes slow stroll with lots of interesting shops. We didn't find Budgens until our last evening as it is tucked away. Bungalow had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating, comfortable beds and a super shower. If there are 6 of you staying you might find the fridge a bit small. We managed to sit in the garden a couple of times, very pretty with seating areas so you can follow the sun. Bus stop at the top of the road meant we could get to Cromer or Sheringham (without the £8.50 parking charges) both only a short distance away. Great accommodation in a great location.
Teresa
The bungalow is lovely and I believe this is our third visit. Very clean and well furnished with a beautiful garden. We seemed to have to put the heating on as it didn't appear to come on. That said would recommend the bungalow without any hesitation.
Diane
We loved this property, very clean and spacious. Great garden, over all brilliant.
Havilland
A splendid property to holiday in. We spent Christmas at the Laurels and it was home from home particularly after our bad luck year (home suffering flood damage) There were Christmas decoration on display, a super welcoming basket. There are all the facilities for cooking, dishwashing, clothes laundering. Logs for the lounge open fire I can still remember our cosy Christmas and Boxing days. On the sunny days I could imagine this would be a brillant Spring, Summer and Autumn.
