Badger Set Reviews

Paul
A wonderful studio accommodation, ideally situated, WiFi was problematic for most of the weekend until our last evening, but would not deter us from returning to this wonderful place.
Denise
Pat and Brian are a lovely couple the offer of hot scones on arrival was an added bonus and have Donkeys at the end of the drive was great we was also given advise on where to go for food ie the right pubs to go to and various sits to visit
John
Small but has everything we needed
Teresa
A beautiful studio, true to the photos. Such a peaceful quiet location, surrounded by sugar beat. The owners are super friendly and leave you to enjoy your time here. They have 2 lovely donkeys and some chickens which we loved to feed ( with Pats approval) The bed was super comfy, good water pressure, plenty of hot water. There is ample bike storage for bikes and the area feels totally safe. We biked to Beccles and Loddon and loved our days out. You will require transport to get here and to get about with as you are quite far from shops and restaurants. But that's what makes it so special. Thanks Pat and Brian for everything. Awww forgot to mention the Scones that were waiting for us on arrival were absolutely the best ever.
Irene
It clearly says on the website â??small dogsâ?? allowed. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything I required. The owners were lovely. Unfortunately, my holiday was spoilt by a large dog turning up who scared my dog. This wasnâ??t the fault of the owner. Surely HolidayCottages.co.uk could create a filter for future bookings.
Michelle
Very nice cosy cottage. In a lovely area. The owners were very hospitable and friendly. Would recommend.
Anthony
Had a really nice time hosts Pat and Brian couldnâ??t have been a nicer couple. The cottage itself was very nice had a lovely view of sunset while sipping wine outside on patio. Highly recommended.
Sharon
Perfect little place in a good location to explore. Lots of little touches. Will definately recommend this beautiful studio.
Annie
Lovely, compact cottage. Friendly, welcoming hosts. Ideally located for exploring the area.
Ramsy
Studio was very clean and well-equipped for self-catering. The beds were very comfortable (on the firm side, which we like). The property is surrounded by fields and the environment was so peaceful--perfect for R&R. While off the beaten path, the location is really just a short drive to main roads in all directions. We really enjoyed feeding apples and carrots to Spice and Elderflower, two cheeky donkeys living in a paddock on the property. Had a couple of lovely meals at The Cock in Cantley (5 mins away). Also enjoyed fishing at Taswood Fisheries about 20 mins away--6+ lakes, all very well maintained and all facilities you might need. On Pat's recommendation we booked the Southern Comfort riverboat tour of the Broads from Horning which was well worth it and very informative. If you just want to stay put, hikes and bike rides are right outside the door. Highly recommend the property and the owners.
Richard
We really enjoyed our stay the place was really nice, just locally n you have the reedham ferry arms, highly recommended, and watching the ferry was a joy!
Lucy
Badger Sett is a delightful destination. Everything has been thought of, even down to a towel for our dog! Our hosts were friendly and approachable.
Joy
The cottage was perfect, arriving to a home made scone with jam was a delight. The bed was so comfy and I had everything that I needed there. The owners are so lovely and friendly and so helpful too. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there, plus central to so many beautiful places.... A true retreat

It is a comfortable spot with convenient parking. The bed is big and comfortable and there is everything you will need in the kitchen. The owners are approachable and friendly without being obtrusive. Overall if you want peace and quiet and a great base to explore the Broads this is perfect.
Jo
Bijou but perfectly equipped. Good base for exploring the broads. WiFi was intermittent but that's due to location.
