About Horseshoe Cottage

Horseshoe Cottage is a former fisherman's brick and flint cottage sitting right in the heart of Cromer, Norfolk. This two-bedroom bolthole has been part of a collection of quality holiday lets since 2016. You're just 400 metres from the beach and within 300 metres of the town's shops and restaurants. It's a proper coastal cottage with a maritime feel throughout.

Cromer is a classic Victorian seaside town on the Norfolk coast. The pier, the crab boats, the independent shops it's all on your doorstep. Two green spaces are within 250 metres making it easy to stretch your legs without getting in the car.

The cottage sleeps up to 3 guests across two bedrooms one double and one single (child only, 2'6" x 5'6"). There's a family shower room with WC upstairs. The lounge/diner has soft seating, TV/DVD and a CD player. The sunny courtyard garden has a table and chairs for outdoor dining.

Cromer Pier (0.3 miles/5 min walk) is a must. Felbrigg Hall NT (3.5 miles/10 mins) is close by. Blickling Estate (12 miles/25 mins) and Sheringham Park (6 miles/15 mins) are excellent days out.

Horseshoe Cottage suits couples and small families wanting a genuine seaside base. Beach, town and green space all within walking distance it's hard to beat.

Very comfortable dog friendly cottage with a nice enclosed garden it is well equipped however a small freezer compartment in fridge would have been a bonus. It is as described a very steep staircase but plenty of handrails and a small second bed big enough for an adult of 5 ft 2 overall very happy with our stay

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Horseshoe cottage. The location is perfect for both Cromer town and the beach, and the nearby park/meadow was useful to take the dog. The cottage itself was cute and clean and we were very comfortable there (we were 1 x couple with a dog.) The garden was more private than I thought it looked from some of the photos - the dog liked exploring the bushes and the patio by the house was a lovely place to sit with a coffee. The locked outhouse was big enough to store a surfboard which was handy too. I would recommend (for small families like ours!)

Cottage was comfy enough for a short break, every thing you need is there. Enclosed rear garden and a short walk from seafront. Street parking near on impossible, closest place is Morrisons were you can book via a few Apps. Electric heaters take some getting used to.

You often see a cottage or hotel online, looking so clean and perfect, only to be slightly disappointed by reality. In the case of this great little cottage, it was as clean and perfect as I imagined. Also the location was amazing for shops and basically everything in Cromer. So much thought has gone into providing everything you will need, by the owner and the cleanliness was outstanding to be honest. The neighbours were also very friendly and welcoming. Iâ??m so glad we chose Cromer and Horseshoe cottage.

Lovely clean cottage in a great location for all amenities. Bathroom very small, but clean and modern with a good shower. Stairs may not be suitable for some people, as quite steep and winding. Loved the downstairs layout with patio doors leading from the lounge to the garden. Great for the dog or just to have open on a nice day.

Great cottage - highly recommend. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect location. One tip - my mum and I didn't realise that the single bed is only suitable for people under 5ft. So my mum very kindly gave me the large room and luckily because she is only 5ft 1, she managed to sleep in it ok-enough. Also don't make the mistake I did and get anything sent to the cottage. There is no letter box and mail goes to a locked mailbox. I had to disturb the owner unfortunately, who very kindly did help out.

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location for everything. Short walk to beach, bus station, train station and town centre and right beside a Morrisons for stocking up on those essentials. Would highly recommend for those visiting Cromer and the surrounding area.
