The house is located down a wooded country lane and backs onto fields. It is really peaceful and quiet. The garden is huge and is surrounded by trees for the birds and wildlife. The house is decorated and furnished to a high standard and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and the utility room was extremely welcome because we had monsoon rain for three days, and we were able to dry everything out. It is a 15 minute drive to Wells and Holkham, which are the best beaches in Norfolk. Its honestly the best place I have every stayed in and would recommend it to anyone.

So peaceful, a truly lovely area. Very central for exploring North Norfolk delights. The Lodge provides all kitchen utensils you may need and a barbecue outside, also books and games etc. great facilities. Appearance of garden needs attention, weeds growing at front entrance, house keeping needs fine tuning. Welcome bag needs improving to include milk for that first cuppa on arrival!

Shuttleworth Lodge is the perfect escape, peaceful yet a great location for exploring the North Norfolk area. Very clean, comfy beds, a real home from home.
